Early Childhood Assistant

Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant to join the team. The role is casual and unqualified, with a rate of $35 per hour (inclusive of casual loading). Work schedule is Monday–Friday, with flexible casual work opportunities. The position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education and to contribute to a nurturing and engaging environment for young children at Curry Kids Early Learning Centre.
Responsibilities- Assist with preparing learning materials
- Maintain play areas
- Actively engage with children to support their development
- Help implement learning programs
- Communicate with families
- Contribute to a positive team environment
This is a role for those new to the industry who are keen to develop their skills. The position is suitable for individuals without formal qualifications and offers opportunities for professional development and hands-on experience.
