Truck Offsider

James Glass and Aluminium is a leading Australian family-owned company, employing over 2,000 people nationwide in the glass and aluminium industry. Our Townsville Windows and Doors Division have an opportunity for a Truck Offsider / Labourer to join our friendly and efficient team, to assist our truck drivers with loading and site deliveries, plus general factory duties.

• Day-to-day duties include loading and unloading glass, aluminium windows, and door products, ensuring safe and accurate handling.
• You will work a 38-hour week on day shift, supporting our Truck Driver with domestic deliveries and collections, while also assisting with general warehouse and factory duties.
• This is a hands-on role involving heavy lifting and manual labour, so we're seeking someone who is physically fit, adaptable, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

• Holds a current driver's licence with access to reliable transport.
• Experience with manual handling or furniture removal is highly regarded; an MR licence will be considered an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on working safely and accurately.
• Demonstrates a solid record of attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
• Physically fit and willing to undertake manual labour to support product deliveries.
