Red Cross Shops offer a carefully curated selection of high quality new and pre-loved items, including seasonal clothing, shoes, accessories, and homewares. We aim to keep shops varied and welcoming, with engaging displays for customers.

You'll be contributing to rescuing pre-loved clothing from landfills and helping Red Cross raise vital funds to support vulnerable people across Australia. You'll be part of a team and feel valued for your time; training and development opportunities are available, and generous discounts apply to your purchases.

What you'll do
  • Welcoming and engaging customers
  • Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and eftpos payments
  • Sorting and pricing donations
  • Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers
  • Keeping the shop clean and tidy
  • Following all shop processes

Application process

  • You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – you must be 16)
  • Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross)
  • Induction into our organisation and Retail program
