What You Will Be Working On
  • Drive national expansion by bringing the life to the vision, drive growth through the existing network and target franchise development
  • Operational excellence: create the rhythm and cadence by overseeing the standardisation of processes and service protocols to ensure consistency
  • Leadership development: empower the people and build a high-performing team that mentors and grows franchisees
  • Overseeing brand, product & market leadership; supply chain excellence; digital transformation; all aimed at enhancing the market position through strategic marketing and exceptional service that fosters loyalty
Why You Will Be Excited About This Role

Legacy and history are what this organisation has by the bucket load. Now a leader is needed to crystallize the vision for the staff and franchisees. You will be charged with creating a clear purpose to align and galvanise everyone into understanding why they are doing what they are doing. You will establish the operational rhythm and cadence that define the organisation, while developing staff and franchise partners to become genuine business leaders under your guidance. This isn't just about leading what exists; you are building the foundation for sustainable national growth through your vision and leadership.

As CEO you'll take the reins of a growth opportunity that combines proven heritage with modern innovation, driving strategic expansion across Australia's homemaker markets. You will understand the importance of relationships, particularly in a franchise/multi-site environment where the creation of shared purpose is paramount. There will be challenges as you reignite what was once an industry icon back into a market leader. You will have the support of long-term staff in key positions and an experienced Chairman who understands franchise operations.

Qualifications

You have a proven track record of growth across dispersed locations, with demonstrated experience in the franchise sector, retail operations, or multi-location service businesses within consumer-facing industries. You will also have the commercial acumen to drive outcomes through budgets and targets; however, it will be your ability to engage and lead people, build teams and create achievement through others that makes you stand out.

If you have held roles such as CEO, Executive General Manager, General Manager, National Operations Manager, National Operations Director, Multi-Site General Manager, or Franchise Network Leader, we would love to hear from you if you have the skills outlined above and are keen to take on a challenge with significant upside. This is an onsite role with requirements for travel.
