  Job Description
  • Manage and maintain Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor system configurations and updates.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Linux systems with other platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and industry standards for security and data management.
  • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Contribute to system planning, upgrades, and capacity management.
  • Support the organisation's technology goals through proactive system maintenance.
    
    
  The Successful Applicant
  
  A Successful Senior Linux Engineer Should Have
  • Strong expertise in Linux system administration and management ideally minimum of 5+ years experience
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols relevant to Linux environments.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a temporary, fast-paced environment.
  • Please note candidate must be Australian citizens with the ability to be NV1 Cleared
