BDA is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Boeing P-8A Poseidon Sustainment Program. This role involves supporting various cyber services within a well-established Cyber team.

This position is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures within a multidisciplinary team.
  2. Enhance cyber maturity within the P8 Poseidon Program.
  3. Evaluate process effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
  4. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Coordinate the Plan of Action & Milestones (POAM) and cyber risk reduction initiatives.
  6. Monitor security compliance, assess gaps, and respond to security incidents.
  7. Provide security design advice, recommending solutions to meet security objectives.
  8. Analyze security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  9. Communicate security concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  10. Build relationships supporting the P8 Poseidon Program.
  11. Mentor junior staff members.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Qualifications or experience in cybersecurity.
  2. Experience with security risk management frameworks such as DSPF, ISM, ISO27001.
  3. Experience with Defence Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
  4. Knowledge of vulnerability management tools, Windows and Linux cybersecurity, OT environments, and security procedures.
  5. Hold an NV1 security clearance with the ability to upgrade.
