This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Step Into Your Next Chapter
  • Provide classroom support to teachers by assisting with learning activities, small group work and individual student support.
  • Help prepare and maintain classroom resources, learning materials and equipment.
  • Support the implementation of individual learning, behaviour and engagement plans.
  • Supervise students in the classroom and playground under teacher direction.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support effective classroom operations.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with or caring for children.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, with a willingness to support a range of student needs.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Teacher Aide or in an educational setting.
  • Certificate III in Education Support (or working towards).
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including additional needs in literacy, numeracy, or behaviour.
  • Familiarity with positive behaviour support strategies.
