What You Will Be Working On
We are seeking a talented, experienced Buyer to join our dynamic Ecommerce team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for market trends, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to curate an outstanding online product range that delights our customers and achieves significant growth.
- Develop and manage the online product assortment across hair care, styling, and beauty categories
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and innovative products
- Introduce and bring to market new categories and brands
- Negotiate competitive pricing and terms with suppliers and brands
- Conduct Campaign & promotions analysis
- Analyse sales data, inventory levels, and ecommerce performance metrics
- Collaborate closely with teams to optimize product presentation and promotions
- Forecast product demand and manage inventory to maximize sales and minimize overstocks
What you need to be successful in this role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in online buying or e-commerce merchandising, preferably in beauty, hair care and FMCG
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management software
- Experience in the beauty or hair care industry with deep understanding of ecommerce retail trends and consumer behaviour
- Knowledge of digital marketing and ecommerce platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Innovative approach to product selection and range development
