Overview

Lead the Future of Transport in Queensland's North West. The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) seeks a visionary District Director to lead the North West District from Cloncurry - the Friendly Heart of the Great North West. This is a rare opportunity to shape infrastructure delivery across a vast and vital region, covering over 307,000 square kilometres and serving more than 35,000 residents. You'll be at the forefront of delivering the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP), while representing senior leadership and engaging deeply with local communities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the North West District from Cloncurry and guide district operations.
  • Shape infrastructure delivery across the North West region.
  • Engage with local communities and represent senior leadership in relevant forums.
  • Deliver the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) initiatives within the district.
