In this role, you\u2019ll: This role will see you use your carpentry trade skills to maintain vital road and drainage infrastructure. You\u2019ll perform a range of manual and technical tasks, contribute to ongoing road projects, and support safety, quality and environmental outcomes. You will lead safe and efficient carpentry work in a team-focused environment, guiding others while building your capability in infrastructure maintenance and construction. Responsibilities- Lead safe and efficient carpentry work in a team-focused environment, guiding others while building capability in infrastructure maintenance and construction.
- Use carpentry trade skills to maintain vital road and drainage infrastructure; perform a range of manual and technical tasks; contribute to ongoing road projects; and support safety, quality and environmental outcomes.
Your hands-on carpentry experience and strong safety focus, developed across construction or maintenance roles, will see you deliver high-quality work and support team outcomes. You\u2019re recognised as a skilled and reliable tradesperson, experienced in using tools, solving problems on the job, and working in physically demanding environments. You will have experience in general concreting works, including finishing, steel fixing and building formwork. You will have experience with reading engineering plans, with specific focus on steel schedules and concrete reinforcement detailing.
- Essential requirements:
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Australian driver licence (min. P1)
- Willingness to complete any required licences or tickets
- Desirable requirements:
- Current Australian Truck license (MR equivalent or above)
