Overview

Pharmacist role at Mercy Health Australia. Location: Werribee Mercy Hospital. Employment type: Permanent Full Time.

Salary: Pharmacist Grade 1 (Y1–Y6) depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Deliver consumer-focused clinical pharmacy services and operational services within the pharmacy department.
  • Provide accurate and efficient clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Supervise pharmacy interns, students and residents.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to education and meetings.
  • Identify and participate in quality improvement activities and positively influence change as required.

Requirements
  • Current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Previous (community or hospital) pharmacist experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining,:
    • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
    • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations as required by public health orders.
