Alternate Underground Manager – Gold - FIFO from Perth

Ready to lead at one of Australia's top-tier gold mining operations? If you're an experienced mining professional driven by safety, leadership, and results, this could be your next big move.

I am seeking a dynamic Alternate Underground Manager to support the operational and technical teams in safely and effectively executing the underground mining plan.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise operational and technical services teams (including contractors)Deliver short, medium, and long-term mine plans aligned to business goalsDrive performance across production, development, and infrastructure upgradesCoach, mentor, and develop direct reportsChampion a proactive safety culture and regulatory complianceIdentify risks and improvement opportunities to support mine growthCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across site

What We're Looking For :

Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering (or equivalent)Proven leadership in mechanised hard-rock underground miningStrong planning, production, and cost-control capabilityDeep understanding of WHS legislation and operational riskHigh-level communication, reporting, and team-building skillsValid C-Class WA driver's license
