Due to exciting growth and expansion, an incredible and rare opportunity has come up to join the Design team at SHEIKE as a Senior Designer. As part of the Design team, the Senior Designer plays a pivotal role in contributing to the creative and strategic development of the brand's product offerings. The purpose of this role is to bring the SHEIKE aesthetic to life through innovative and trend-driven designs, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market demands. By collaborating closely with the Lead Designer and Designers, the Senior Designer will be instrumental in the end-to-end design process.

A little about the role...

• Design product for seasonal collections, ensuring alignment to the brands strategic vision
• Be responsible for designing and creating compelling designs and be accountable for the relevance and execution of the global and market trends.
• Work in collaboration with the Lead Designer and Head of Product to fulfil the retail OTB, design and deliver highly relevant, on-trend, commercial product; with a clear brand image that appeals to our customer.
• Actively assist the Lead Designer to develop and strengthen the ranges and the design team.
• Be customer focused, commercial and coordinate product ranges that both grow sales, and position our brand as best in market.
• Be a positive influence for the Lead Designer and junior design team, build solid relationships with key suppliers and sellers and negotiate profitable business outcomes as well as work collaboratively with Production and Planning to ensure our product brand vision is executed in line with our strategy.
• Ensure the range increases brand competitiveness, maximize sales, and achieve financial targets/margins, whist adhering to the critical path and all quality requirements.

A little about you...

• 6+ years' experience in a similar role
• Strong technical confidence, with the ability to communicate articulately and effectively, applying influence across the business regarding production & product. Demonstrate a proven ability to affect and manage change.
• Strong background in product design/management with the ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility whilst being able to work independently.
• Be passionate and enthusiastic about fashion with a distinct sense of trends, design and construction. Be responsible with a "make it happen" approach.
• Must be highly detail oriented, organized, the ability to set standards and execute, as well as having strong sense of priority and follow through skills, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Ability to work in a team driven atmosphere with the ability to flex to personality styles and build strong working relationships internally & externally.
• Enjoy refining systems and processes to make them more efficient whilst increasing margin.
