Job detailsEducation: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Move tools, equipment and other materials. Hold stakes during surveying activities. Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Initiative. Reliability. Experience: Will train. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
