Steel Centre is seeking a dynamic individual to join our North Mackay branch as a Storeperson. This full-time role isn't just a job – it's a chance to dive into Queensland's vibrant lifestyle while advancing your career This is a Monday to Friday permanent opportunity, working daytime hours, with overtime available.

The hourly rate is $38 per hour.

Your role will include:

• Picking and packing orders for despatch
• Operating overhead crane, competency-based training provided
• Opportunity to be up-skilled in forklift operations
• Face to face customer service
• Adherence to rigorous safety policies and procedures
• Working in a team environment

To be successful, you will have:

• Exceptional commitment to safety
• Willingness to learn and upskill
• Great customer service skills
• A natural ability to think on your feet and solve problems

Forklift license or experience is ideal, however we can train you on this
