Insurance & Litigation Team

Based in the Sydney office, the team works closely to provide tailored solutions for clients and stakeholders. Team members handle a broad spectrum of matters, from high-stakes litigation to strategic advisory work, ensuring exposure to challenging and varied claims while working in a supportive, high-performing environment.

Position Description

In this role, you will:

• Advise on complex personal injury, casualty, and liability matters, including abuse, coronial, product liability, and property damage claims
• Manage matters from inception to resolution, liaising with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders while providing practical, commercial guidance
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation, ensuring alignment with best practice and client objectives
• Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on case strategy, drafting, and litigation management
• Participate in business development initiatives, client networking, and professional development programs
• Contribute to the team's knowledge management, thought leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements

You will be an Lawyer with 4+ years' PAE and experience in litigation, preferably personal injury insurance. You will bring:

• A current NSW practising certificate
• Strong litigation experience across personal injury, product liability, and property damage matters
• Proven ability to manage complex matters to tight deadlines with appropriate support
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• A proactive, client-focused approach with enthusiasm for mentoring and business development
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your own matters
