Role Responsibilities:

  • Full autonomy to lead $10M - $200M+ projects from pre-construction to handover, and actually own the result
  • Champion project delivery with a focus on quality, time, and margin, not just ticking boxes
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, represent the business like it's your own
  • Lead and inspire your site and project team, mentoring future leaders while staying cool under pressure
  • Drive and coordinate design development, buildability, and programme sequencing from day one
  • Collaborate with estimators and directors on project strategies, value-engineering, and commercial risk
  • Navigate challenges with confidence, you're the person the team turns to when things get real
  • Use your influence to streamline processes, lift performance, and leave a legacy of excellence on every job

Role Requirements:

  • A proven track record delivering complex commercial projects $10M+ from start to finish, you've done it before, and done it well
  • 6 - 8+ years' experience in Tier 1, 2 or 3 environments, ideally across commercial, education, health, industrial, or civic projects (but not a must have)
  • A natural leader, respected by your site team, trusted by clients, and cool under fire
  • Strong commercial acumen, you understand margins, risk, procurement, and how to drive performance without cutting corners
  • You think like a builder, not just a manager, with sharp instincts for sequencing, buildability, and design resolution
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, whether it's in a client meeting, design workshop or site toolbox
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo when something doesn't stack up
  • Construction Management degree or similar tertiary qualification (or the practical experience that makes it irrelevant)
