Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for retail and team success? Join Toymate, one of Australia's most exciting toy retailers, as a Store Manager and take charge of an energetic, customer-focused team.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves creating memorable customer experiences, and has a strong grasp of store operations. Reporting to the Area Manager and National Operations Manager, you'll be empowered to lead your store to success - with the support of a dedicated Merchandise Manager (our internal title for Assistant Manager).

As a Store Manager, you'll shape your store's culture, drive commercial performance, and lead from the front.

What You'll Do:

  1. Lead by example to achieve and exceed sales & KPI targets
  2. Motivate, coach & develop your team to success
  3. Manage store profitability, budgets & expenses
  4. Maintain high visual merchandising & stock control standards
  5. Ensure compliance with safety, cash handling & company policies
  6. At least 2 years' experience in a retail management role
  7. Passion for people leadership and team development
  8. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs
  9. Excellent communication and organisational skills
  10. A hands-on, solution-focused leader who leads from the front
