Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a 2nd Year Apprentice located in Leichhardt, NSW. The 2nd Year Apprentice will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include following instructions from senior electricians, learning and applying industry standards, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring work areas are kept safe and clean.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and codes
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior electricians
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks
  • Valid driver's license
  • Completion of the 1st year of an electrical apprenticeship
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to safety standards
