Overview

Our client, a premier base metals and development company based in Australia, is seeking a Mining Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on mine site analysis, reporting and safety management, leveraging extensive mining expertise to inform critical decisions, address complex challenges, optimise processes, and support successful project execution.

Location: Perth, WA – FIFO 8/6 Roster

Base pay range: A$190,000.00/yr - A$230,000.00/yr

Key responsibilities
  • Mine optimisation and planning including dewatering
  • Supervise mine development and reporting
  • Safety management and drill and blast planning
  • Quality and equipment control
  • Provide technical input and leadership to subordinates
  • Mine-site performance management and continuous improvement
What you'll bring
  • Degree
  • 7+ years' experience in mining operations
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Base metal experience is a must
