Our client, a well-established truck and haulage company and a commercial vehicle dealership, provides high-quality products to their clients. Currently, they are looking for a full-time, skilled, and experienced Motor Mechanic to join their dynamic team.

You must have experience working in the automotive industry, involving all aspects of automobile technology, with a formal qualification in the automotive field. The workshop is clean and tidy, with excellent facilities.

To secure this position, it is essential that you:

  1. Hold AQF Certificate III in automobile trade or equivalent, including at least two years of similar occupation experience.
  2. Possess at least three years of relevant experience (which may substitute for formal qualifications).
  3. Be able to work unsupervised and follow brand specifications.
  4. Be capable of troubleshooting and working proactively as part of a team.
  5. Have proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing engines and mechanical parts.
  6. Be able to disassemble and reassemble engine parts after repair.
  7. Have sound experience in fault finding and rapid breakdown response.
  8. Hydraulics/Pneumatics experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Your creativity and specialized skills in automotive work are highly valued. The position offers an excellent salary package + superannuation (between $85,000 and $95,000) for a full-time role.
