We have several Sandwich Artist positions available at the following Subway stores:

Locations:
  • Subway Geelong West - Geelong West
  • Subway Belmont - Belmont
  • Subway Armstrong Creek - Grovedale
  • Subway Newcomb - Newcomb
  • Subway Newtown - Newtown

High school students (Year 10, 11, 12) are welcome to apply.

Shifts Schedule:
  • Morning staff
  • Day/Lunch staff
  • Evening shift

There are many opportunities to grow with Australia's largest subway group. Training and career pathways are available. School-going students are encouraged to apply.

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, and/or customer service is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided along with various University of Subway courses. A winning attitude is most important. If you are currently working in retail or a restaurant, studying, or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

Responsibilities include:
  • Food preparation, including bread and cookie baking
  • Maintaining food storage and preparation areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
  • Complying with Food Code of Practice
  • Operating tills
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Checking deliveries
  • Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Following security and safety procedures
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for employees and customers
  • Presenting a professional appearance in the Subway uniform
  • Working as part of a team
  • Delivering high standards of service to customers

As a Sandwich Artist, you will serve and add value to customer needs efficiently and friendly. You will promote Subway brand awareness and ensure hygiene standards are met. This role can be challenging but highly rewarding, with opportunities to advance into supervisory and managerial positions within the franchise.
