Elderbloom is currently seeking an experienced Residential Care Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role in a small, community focused, not-for-profit residential and retirement living provider, offering a range of high-quality aged care accommodation and support services.

As an Elderbloom Residential Care Manager, and a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Operational management of the aged care facility.
  • Manage and empower staff to excel by providing support, direction and guidance
  • Hold full profit and loss responsibility, driving funding, managing costs, overseeing the roster and maximising resources to achieve financial targets
  • Raise the bar and ensure the facility operates in line with aged care legislation
  • Conduct audits and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop productive relationships with external stakeholders and the community to achieve occupancy targets
  • Ensure the delivery of superb clinical and customer service, including managing feedback and complaints.
  • Driving positive changes and encouraging best-practice.

To be a successful applicant you will be/have:

  • Registered with AHPRA as a registered nurse
  • Residential care manager experience is essential
  • Experience in and passion for change management and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills
  • Want to contribute at an organisational level to improve care and services for our older population
  • Proof of current flu vaccination status
  • Current National Police Certificate (minimum of 6 months) or willing to undergo a Criminal Clerance Check
  • Right to work in Australia
