The Opportunity

Our customer focused administration team are responsible for ensuring the seamless patient health journey. The team are here to effectively support all clinical and non-clinical areas of the day surgery. As a first point of contact for our patients and their families, you will strive to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for all.

The key tasks within this position will include:
  1. Reception and Administration responsibilities – handling enquiries from patients and their families, and also Doctor's and their support staff.
  2. Provide timely and accurate information in response to queries by patients, Doctors and other customers.
  3. Efficiently and accurately perform pre-admissions and admissions processes.
Skills And Experience

To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience working as a medical administrator (completion of a medical terminology course is desirable).

You will display an unwavering commitment to delivering customer service excellence each and every time and understand how to leave our customers with a professional and positive impression of our site, all in line with our Ramsay Core Values.

In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities. You will also have exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels to achieve positive outcomes.

You will also demonstrate:
  1. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  2. Intermediate-advanced computer skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy.
  3. Previous knowledge and experience working across switchboard reception, and pre-admissions settings is desirable.
  4. Experience using Patient Information Systems (i.e. Meditech) is desirable.

Requirements
  1. Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  2. According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
