Overview

Joining our Hobart Location team, you\'ll experience a generalist caseload supporting participants with a variety of disabilities with a focus on neurological, progressive neurological and physical disabilities. You will gain experience in complex assistive technology scripting, community respiratory supports and generalised capacity building supports for people living with a disability.

Located across from Eastlands shopping centre, our office is steps from the Clarence Foreshore Trail and popular coffee shops, with Kunanyi/Mt Wellington views. A 15-minute foreshore walk leads to Bellerive ferry terminal for trips to Hobart city.

Responsibilities

• Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants\' homes to day centers, parks, and even at the beach
• Build enduring relationships with participants and witness the lasting impact of your work
• Celebrate every milestone with participants and their families, understanding that every step forward is a victory worth cherishing

About You

We\'re after Physios/Exercise Physiologists who get restless when they see room for improvement and aren\'t afraid to speak up about it. Who have a fire in their belly about participant care and treat participant goals like personal missions, not just checkboxes on a form. The ones who have the courage to challenge ideas (yes, even ours) when participant\'s interests are at stake.

You Will Also Hold

• Full AHPRA registration - limited may be considered on a case by case basis
• A valid driver\'s license and personal vehicle
• An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• 3+ years of post-graduate experience
