Role Description

This part-time hybrid role at HelloTeams in Melbourne, VIC, involves bookkeeping tasks with flexibility for remote work. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial statements, bookkeeping, utilizing accounting software, handling finance-related tasks, and making journal entries.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing accounts payable and receivable

- Preparing and maintaining cash flow documents and other business forecasting tools

- Processing month-end and year-end reconciliation

- Data entry for your portfolio of clients

- ATO lodgments

- Collating documents, agendas, reports and correspondence for stakeholders and meetings

- Updating and managing Company Policy and Procedures

- Other duties as required from management

- Takes initiative, is a positive team member, and exhibits strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Administration and bookkeeping experience of at least 3+ years
• Cert IV in bookkeeping or equivalent
• Experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping software
• Self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy
• Be able to work in a team and autonomously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
• Experience in Xero and Microsoft Suite (especially excel)
