Permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week

About The Role

As a groundsperson/garden labourer you will assist one of our landscape variations teams with various tasks related to garden maintenance. You will be move between several sites working on value-add projects for our clients. The work will be a mixture of garden maintenance and soft landscaping projects with the opportunity to work across a variety of different fields in the landscaping and horticulture space.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

About You

You don't mind getting your hands dirty and being active in your day-to-day work. You work well in a team and have the ability to follow instructions.

You have a passion for working with plants and a desire to learn and grow in the horticultural industry. If you have previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field this would be looked upon favourably.

You have physical stamina with the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun doesn't phase you.

You have a white card and a valid drivers licence.

Above all you have a strong work ethic and a commitment to completing your work efficiently and to the highest standards following all safety protocols.
