About the role

ICC Sydney is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Full-Time Uniform Room Team Member to join our team.

You will work closely with the Presentation Services department alongside our Uniform Room Team to coordinate efficient daily operations of the ICC Sydney Uniform Room, including but not limited to:

  • Support new team members, including casuals, with uniform fittings and allocation.
  • Utilize sewing machines, ironing stations, and other tools safely and effectively.
  • Pay attention to detail when measuring, creating, and altering uniforms.
  • Assist in laundry, dry cleaning, and linen services.
  • Assist in maintaining stock control, supplies, and linen as directed by the Uniform Room Team Leader.
  • Control and manage uniform room inventory, including fabric materials.
  • Communicate stock levels to the Team Leader and Supervisor, specifically when replenishment is needed.
  • Perform basic computer tasks such as recording uniform allocations and stock takes.
  • Keep the Uniform Room clean and tidy, in line with Work Health & Safety policies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Follow safety procedures and instructions from Presentation Services Management.
  • Ability to operate washing and drying equipment.
  • Basic sewing, ironing, and alteration skills (machine and hand stitching).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain a professional grooming standard and presentation at all times.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • You must be 18 years or over.
