About the role

RGM Maintenance Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker or Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time role is integral to the execution of our maintenance and fabrication projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

Fabricate, install, and repair a variety of metal products, structures, and equipment

Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications

Operate a range of metalworking machinery, tools, and equipment

Perform welding, cutting, and metal forming tasks to a high standard

Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to deliver top quality work

Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and quality standards

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Boilermaker or Sheet Metal Worker, ideally in a maintenance or construction environment

Proficient in the use of metal fabrication tools and equipment, including TIG welding, MIG welding, and plasma cutting

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence
