If you thrive on complex UX challenges, not just wireframing screens but shaping how a product actually works, this is the kind of brief you'll want to see.

We're partnering with a VC-backed team building a brand-new app, and they're looking for a Senior UX Designer to help shape its very first release. This is an early-stage build, focused on making life's more complex tasks easier to manage through a thoughtfully designed digital experience.

You'll work alongside a Lead Visual Designer to define and deliver an experience that is smart, scalable, and human. From product logic and IA to user journeys, flows, and documentation, your thinking will be fundamental to how the product takes shape.

What you'll be doing

  • Shape UX architecture from the ground up, including flows, IA, logic, and task modelling
  • Translate real-world needs into clear, usable product experiences
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and data to validate direction
  • Collaborate deeply with the Lead Visual Designer as two sides of the same coin
  • Document journeys and interaction patterns in Figma with clarity and precision
  • Balance customer goals, business logic, and long-term product thinking

Who we're looking for

  • A strategic UX practitioner who loves untangling complexity and bringing order to chaos
  • Someone with experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Confident working in ambiguous, early-stage environments where the path isn't mapped yet
  • Able to think in systems, not just screens, and tie together structure, user stories, and logic
  • A natural collaborator who can work fluidly across disciplines and talk to developers, stakeholders, and designers alike
  • Someone with excellent communication and documentation skills who is clear, articulate, and persuasive

Nice to have

  • Experience with early product builds or MVPs
  • Familiarity with AI-influenced workflows or data-rich platforms
  • Background in service design, research, or end-to-end journey mapping
