Whitsunday Christian College is an independent, co-educational, Christian learning community serving school students in the Whitsunday region. Our Christian schooling ministry exists to provide quality education in partnership with parents based on an acceptance of the Lordship of Christ, an acceptance of the Bible as the only revealed word of God, and beliefs as defined in the Statement of Faith. We are a growing community with over 400 students and 60 colleagues, offering:

• Secondary School Years 7 – 12
• An accredited provider of OSHC

We are currently inviting applications for the position of Deputy Principal – Head of Secondary. This role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to shape and strengthen the Secondary School, fostering excellence in teaching and learning while upholding the Christ-centred mission of Whitsunday Christian College.

• Influence and lead colleagues in enhancing student engagement, achievement, faith and wellbeing.
• Shape and strengthen the Secondary School, fostering excellence in teaching and learning.

• Lead in areas related to teaching and learning, school improvement, and community engagement; promote a productive and positive learning culture.
• Value and implement transformational curriculum and a relational, cognitive, and differentiated approach to teaching.
