We're excited to offer a rare opportunity to join our brand new state-of-the-art childcare centre, opening late June

About The Role

We're on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to lead our centre's kitchen from 7:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday – ideal for someone who values early finishes and a consistent weekday schedule. As our occupancy grows, there's potential for hours to expand

What You'll Be Doing

  • Planning and preparing seasonal, nutritious menus that cater to children of all dietary needs, including allergies and intolerances (gluten, dairy, etc.)
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Ordering supplies and managing stock efficiently
  • Keeping clear and accurate records in line with food safety regulations
  • Being a valued part of a close-knit, supportive team that puts children first

What You'll Need
  • Available Monday - Friday 7:00am to 1pm
  • Experience in childcare, aged care cooking or similar (essential)
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable)
  • Commercial Cookery qualification (desirable)
  • Current WA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Permanent working rights in Australia
