Opportunity for a Lead Veterinarian at Winston Hills Veterinary Hospital

Winston Hills Veterinary Hospital, located in Sydney's Hills District, has been established for over 30 years. We are a supportive team that encourages development of special interests and skills, and collaboration on complex cases.

As the Lead Veterinarian, you will :

  • Provide primary clinical care for medical and surgical cases.
  • Oversee training and mentorship of the veterinary team.
  • Serve as line manager for our GP veterinarians, offering guidance and support.
  • Assist in performance appraisals for veterinarians.
  • Contribute to training of nursing and animal attendants when needed.
  • Participate in developing and implementing our marketing plan.
  • Be part of the hospital's leadership team.
  • Handle client complaints, addressing both clinical and financial concerns.

About you :

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in small animal practice.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor or Doctor of Veterinary Science, registered with NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board.
