Our client is a leading essential infrastructure services provider in Australia and New Zealand, specialising in the long-term operation, maintenance and management of critical public and private assets and Infrastructure across various sectors.
Your new role
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team for a new project in Townsville, focusing on PFAS remediation works. This role involves excavating to design within tolerance, loading trucks, working with others to ensure smooth excavation operations, and maintaining a safe work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise excavation work according to design specifications
- Load trucks efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have the below tickets and experience:
- Excavator Ticket (RII)
- Valid White Card
- Current police check - or willing to obtain
- Previous experience as a final trim operator with GPS experience is highly desirable.
What you'll get in return
In return, your client can offer big hours working 10 hour shifts Monday to Friday with some Saturday shifts. You will be paid $45ph + overtime + superannuation. This role will see you working through until the end of November 2025.
