The Opportunity

Hitachi has an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson to join our Parts and Warehousing team at our Wacol branch. Reporting to the Manager, you will be involved in the coordination and logistics behind the supply of quality parts to our valued customer base.

The main responsibilities of this role include receiving, picking, cyclic stock counts, packing, and dispatching parts and equipment. A forklift license is required for this role.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a challenging and stimulating work environment and possesses:

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Experience working in an industrial parts environment (desirable).
  • Liaising with freight providers to manage dispatch of parts.
  • A strong safety focus and a good understanding of safe work practices.
  • Current forklift license (preferred).
  • RF scanning experience (preferred).
  • First aid experience (not required).
