What You'll Do- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies.
- Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate payroll systems and practices, including overseas operations and addressing complex wage structures like penalty rates.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including the Modern Slavery Act and HIGA Awards.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to maintain a motivated and high-performing team.
- Lead health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives aligned with WorkSafe guidelines.
- Maintain HR systems, policies, and reporting processes.
- Contribute to internal communication, recognition programs, and company culture.
- 4+ years experience in a generalist HR role in a fast-paced, service-driven hospitality environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels.
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, compliance, and best practices.
- Exceptional planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- A collaborative, people-first mindset with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Experience with HRIS systems (desirable but not essential).
