As the HR Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy, partnering with key stakeholders, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, compliance, and overall workplace culture. What You'll Do
  1. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies.
  2. Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  3. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  4. Coordinate payroll systems and practices, including overseas operations and addressing complex wage structures like penalty rates.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including the Modern Slavery Act and HIGA Awards.
  6. Drive employee engagement initiatives to maintain a motivated and high-performing team.
  7. Lead health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives aligned with WorkSafe guidelines.
  8. Maintain HR systems, policies, and reporting processes.
  9. Contribute to internal communication, recognition programs, and company culture.
What We're Looking For
  1. 4+ years experience in a generalist HR role in a fast-paced, service-driven hospitality environment.
  2. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels.
  3. Sound knowledge of employment legislation, compliance, and best practices.
  4. Exceptional planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  5. A collaborative, people-first mindset with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
  6. Experience with HRIS systems (desirable but not essential).
