Are you passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence to transform how information is discovered and utilized? We are seeking an AI Engineer / Prompter to drive the development of innovative AI-powered solutions tailored for Japanese-speaking users. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing search, content generation, and user experience by integrating cutting-edge generative AI technologies. We are looking for a candidate with a strong sense of curiosity and the confidence to explore nuanced, complex, and unfamiliar subject areas.
About the Role- Drive the development of AI-enhanced features, focusing on large language models (LLMs) and agentic-based generative AI technologies.
- Conduct in-depth research across various platforms, creating best-practice research examples to optimize AI functionalities.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop and refine AI-driven tools and solutions.
- Draft, review, and refine prompts for AI systems and tools, ensuring high-quality content and output in Japanese.
- Evaluate and grade search queries and generated content for relevance, accuracy, and comprehensiveness.
- 3+ years of work experience in one of the following areas: Research-intensive or content development settings (e.g., academic research, information services, knowledge management)
- AI-related service or product development
- Professional services with a focus on analysis and content creation
- Full working proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken). English proficiency is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional research skills, including expertise in Boolean and other online search languages.
- Experience in creating and refining LLM prompts and data indexes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of technical or professional terminology.
- Outstanding interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
