We're looking for an Administration Officer to join our Switch / Reception Team at The Maitland Hospital. Though small in number, our team plays a pivotal role in ensuring patient access, care and support across the hospital. In this dynamic role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, provide efficient telephony and administrative support, and deliver after-hours assistance across the Lower Hunter Sector. From secretarial support to live data management, every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a difference. You'll also be working in one of NSW's most vibrant regional centres. • Provide courteous, efficient telephony and front-of-house services.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Assist with live data after hours, ensuring patients are in the right place at the right time.
• Provide administrative support to the Emergency Department and overnight support for Maitland, Kurri Kurri, Cessnock and Dungog facilities.
