Role Overview

The Registered Nurse will coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients at St George Hospital, adhering to SESLHD and hospital policies and standards.

  • Up to 12 days off annually (for full-time staff), in addition to regular leave.

Selection Criteria

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address key messages and concerns.
  • Proactive engagement with patients to enhance service delivery and guide others.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with health information systems.
  • Knowledge of risk management, safety, and quality principles, and the nurse's role in applying them.
  • Recent post-registration experience in chemotherapy administration with accreditation.
