Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This full time permanent role will be responsible for overseeing and performing the maintenance and property support services at our Gimbawali Place Apartments in Carlingford. The successful candidate will ensure that all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards, in compliance with current regulations and BaptistCare's quality standards.

• Manage and perform both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, grounds and carparks
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Aged Care Quality Standards and other relevant regulations
• Work closely with the Site Manager and the Area Manager to deliver maintenance services with minimal impact on residents and staff
• Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions and disposals, and ensure the maintenance of site vehicles, plant, and machinery
• Manage and liaise with contractors, tradespersons, suppliers, and volunteers to ensure all work is completed to BaptistCare's standards

BaptistCare Gimbawali Place Apartments is made up of 162 one, two and three-bedroom apartment for people over 55 and single-parent families who are still in the workforce. Panoramic views of Sydney, Parramatta and Homebush can be enjoyed from some apartment balconies located on floors one, two and three, while our ground floor apartments have an expansive outdoor area. Gimbawali Place has a central courtyard, children\'s playground, community space with kitchen on ground level, communal lounge area on level 4, basement carpark, and landscaped surround.

To be considered you should have:

• Experience in a maintenance supervisory role
• Trade Qualifications (preferred)
• Experience with managing and working with contractors
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, plant, and equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Patience, empathy and great communication skills
• Commitment to upholding BaptistCare's values and standards
• Sound computer literacy in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience in CMMS preferred but not essential
• Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment purposes (essential)
