Are you passionate about helping others thrive in the water? Little Mountain Aquatic Centre is on the lookout for an energetic and committed Swim Instructor/Lifeguard to join our team.

You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons, promoting water safety, and helping our community feel right at home in the water.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver safe and engaging "Learn to Swim" programs tailored to individual needs

Assess swimmer ability, track progress, and provide feedback to students and families

Set up and pack down equipment before/after lessons

Keep the pool area clean, safe, and well-maintained

Support continuous improvement in lesson delivery and aquatic programs

Potential for additional shifts and duties based on qualifications and experience.

Essential

What You'll Bring:

SWIM Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent)

If applying for the baby and toddler opportunity- Swim Australia Teacher of Babies & Toddlers (or equivalent)

Current CPR and First Aid Certificate

Minimum 1 year of experience teaching 'Learn to Swim' programs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Current National Police Check, Working with Children (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain

Desirable

SWIM Australia Teacher of Learners with Disabilities (or equivalent)

Swim Australia Teacher of Babies & Toddlers (or equivalent)

Pool Lifeguard certificate

A genuine passion for community building and inclusive teaching

Availability ranges from: Monday to Thursday between 7AM - 12PM and/or 3pm-6pm and Friday and Saturday mornings between 7AM - 12PM.

if applying for baby and toddler position must be available Saturday mornings with further hours available.
