Job Vacancy: Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice (2nd Year & Above)

Location: Rockdale, NSW (Servicing Greater Sydney)

The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for a committed and capable 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to become a valued member of our growing team. You'll work alongside our qualified technicians, gaining hands-on experience and further honing your skills in all facets of the trade. This role offers excellent practical exposure to real-world scenarios, perfectly complementing your TAFE studies.

Key Responsibilities (as part of a supervised team)

* Assisting with the installation of various AC and refrigeration units.

* Performing routine maintenance checks and servicing.

* Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults.

* Assisting with repairs and component replacements.

* Ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained.

* Adhering strictly to WHS policies and procedures.

* Maintaining accurate records of work performed.

What We're Looking For in You

* Currently undertaking a Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, having successfully completed your first year of studies.

* Practical experience in the field is essential (minimum 1 year paid experience).

* A genuine passion for the HVAC-R industry and a desire to learn and grow.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

* Reliable, punctual, and a strong commitment to attendance (both work and TAFE).

* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Current NSW Driver's Licence (Min Green P's)

* Current Construction Induction Card (White Card).

* Basic hand tools (beneficial).
