About The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Edwards Hall. This casual position offers flexibility, with shifts subject to change weekly. It's an ideal opportunity for someone looking to pick up extra hours in a supportive and fast-paced setting.

Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care Gather seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key education sites in Callaghan

Role

What This Role Involves:
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
  • Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
  • Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
  • Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Desired Skills And Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
  • Previous experience in the education sector would be well regarded
