We have an exciting Tradesperson – Fixed Plant Electrical residential position at the world-class KCGM Operation, boasting a +10-year mine life. Join our technical team on a 5/2, 4/3 (10-hour day shift) roster for a long-term, fulfilling career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out work in accordance with Company and industry safety standards and legislative requirements, with a commitment to safety and health, risk elimination, and damage prevention.
- Managing activities responsibly to prevent pollution and minimize environmental impact.
- Maintaining open communication with stakeholders about activities and tasks, in accordance with the Stakeholder Policy.
- Performing electrical maintenance in the Processing Plant, Site buildings, and Village, including creating work requests in Pronto with appropriate priorities.
- Reporting defects or repairs, and completing work in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant mining industry experience.
- Ability to work in a team and foster team building.
- Willingness to train and share knowledge with Maintenance personnel.
- Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
- Competent computer skills, including use of management systems (e.g., Pronto), word processing, and spreadsheets.
Required qualifications:
- Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
- Western Australian Construction White Card.
