Leading Hand Carpenter – High-End Residential Renovations

Gold Coast | Full-Time | $95,000-$110,000 + Super | Travel Allowance

Dellwood Constructions is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our close-knit, high-performing team. Specialising in custom renovations and extensions across the Gold Coast, you'll work on projects you'll be proud of. With a strong pipeline of work, we want a talented carpenter to help us deliver outstanding results as our team grows.

About the Role

You'll lead carpentry work on projects such as kitchen and bathroom renovations and full-home transformations. As a Leading Hand, you'll work closely with our Director to ensure projects run smoothly and meet high standards.

Responsibilities include:
  • All aspects of carpentry including fix outs, framing, door and window hanging, skirting, cladding, and finishes
  • Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Reading and interpreting plans for precise work
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior team members
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients, team, and Director
Qualifications & Skills
  • Certificate III in Carpentry
  • Own transport and full toolset
  • Minimum 2+ years post-trade experience in renovations/extensions
  • QBCC Licence
  • Strong knowledge of high-end residential construction
  • Ability to read & interpret construction plans
  • White Card and valid driver's licence
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Leadership potential or experience
Details
  • Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
  • Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
  • Travel allowance
  • Potential to grow into a Supervisor role
