Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, ironers, and presses
  • Sort, fold, iron, and press linen manually and with equipment
  • Load / unload commercial washing machines and dryers
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and report faults
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure quality standards are met
About You / Qualifications

Although you do not require previous experience in a commercial laundry, the role is labour-intensive and involves manual handling of linen and production materials. You should be comfortable standing for the duration of the shift and able to safely lift up to 15 kg.

Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:

  • Previous experience in a commercial manufacturing or production setting is favourable
  • Attention to detail
  • Commitment to WHS standards including cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Self-motivation and team orientation
  • Ability to learn and apply quality control techniques
  • Flexibility and adaptability to fill shifts when required
Pre-employment Documentation
  • A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
  • A pre-employment medical
  • NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
  • 100 points of identification
