About the opportunity

If you are looking for a new challenge, we have an exciting new role waiting for you

Tapping into your expertise of the audio market, you will play an integral role to increase awareness of Axis Communications Audio systems and solutions, and create new opportunities to drive revenue across the Oceania market.

Working closely with the Oceania sales organisation, you will make connections within our eco system of existing end customers, integrators, distributors, consultants and architects, to increase demand for the existing and new audio hardware, software and services.

This will be a hands-on role, where you will develop and execute strategy in new customer acquisitions to increase awareness and adoption of our audio solutions and services as well as managing some national accounts to act as a professional interface between the accounts and Axis to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.

The Audio Sales Manager role will work closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, sales team Oceania, APAC and Global Audio specialists, to coordinate and drive specific strategies and campaigns.

This position can be based in Sydney or Melbourne Australia. Ability to undertake domestic and international travel will be a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new markets or verticals for audio solutions.
  • Develop and grow key channel partners who will drive usage of our audio systems and solutions among their end users.
  • Provide training to upskill both internal and external stakeholders on our audio value proposition.
  • Act as a conduit to product management in Oceania and our head office in Sweden providing feedback and planning of future releases, roadmaps, etc.
  • Identify and participate in key industry events, meetings, trade shows, conferences and associations promoting audio systems in targeted industry segments.
  • Reporting on activity as required including market trends, sales pipeline, opportunities and risks.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent or similar role
  • Extensive understanding of the Audio market
  • Experience working with indirect sales, preferably in a technical sales position from the IT or Security industry
  • Able to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • IT exposure in networking, IP-based technologies and applications with sound knowledge of network infrastructure an advantage
