OverviewUNSW School of Health Sciences invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy (Clinical Education). The role will focus on experiential learning (clinical placements and simulation) throughout the pharmacy program and contribute to Education Focused roles that support high-quality teaching and educational excellence.
Responsibilities- Deliver and assess clinical education across undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.
- Lead and participate in experiential learning activities, including clinical placements and simulation.
- Contribute to curriculum development and educational initiatives that enhance student learning experiences.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with discipline knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive educational excellence within the teaching and learning communities.
- A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
- General Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Knowledge and experience in clinical areas relevant to the practice of pharmacy and the ability to deliver appropriate care.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., curriculum design for clinical education).
- Knowledge of industry or work-integrated learning (desirable).
- Level C: advanced clinical knowledge and person-centred care; endorsement of teaching practice development and leadership in inclusive learning.
- Level B: PhD and/or relevant experience; AHPRA registration; evidence of teaching and clinical education expertise.
- Level C (in addition to Level B): advanced clinical knowledge and leadership in teaching and learning, with potential for curriculum development leadership.
- Remuneration: $127k–$178k base, plus 17% superannuation and leave loading.
