Overview

Laundry Assistant - St Bede's South Hurstville

Join to apply for the Laundry Assistant role at Catholic Healthcare. Location: South Hurstville. Casual role, 9.00am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday. Pay rate: $31.70 per hour + superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide laundry services including collecting and washing personal clothing, folding and sorting, and distributing personal items back to resident rooms
  • Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements / Qualifications
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
