As we experience growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplined engineering team. Raytheon Australia is a trusted Maritime Electronic Warfare partner of the Australian Defence Force, delivering innovative Maritime Electronics Warfare projects.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare projects that protect national security.
  • Design and build rugged, high-availability hardware for deployment on Royal Australian Navy ships.
  • Collaborate in a high-calibre team with strong professional development opportunities and benefits.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Engineering professional with tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or allied discipline.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a relevant process-driven engineering environment (e.g., Defence, medical, mining).
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with system, mechanical and specialty engineers.
  • Experience within a formal system engineering framework is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering and modelling tools (e.g., Cameo) is desirable.
  • Experience in a Defence-related industry is desirable.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV-1.
